Arrival in Rome

Orientational walking tour an overview of nearby ATMs, pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, public transport stops, and other useful points of interest to make the stay in Rome more comfortable and independent.

day 3 / ROME

Historical walking tour of Rome with a professional guide
The itinerary includes landmarks such as Piazza Venezia, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. The tour provides an overview of Rome’s evolution from the ancient Empire to the Renaissance, exploring its art, architecture, and key historical events.
Lunch break (not included)
Guided visit to the historic headquarters of the Italian Air Force.
Built between 1929 and 1931, it was the first public building in Italy designed entirely in reinforced concrete. The visit includes an introduction to its architectural features, the history of Italian aviation, and the institutional role of the Air Force in the country’s defense and technological development.

Private transfer ( approx 1h) to the Italian Air Force Historical Museum
(Museo Storico dell'Aeronautica)
Located on the shores of Lake Bracciano, near Rome, the museum presents the history and evolution of Italian military aviation. The exhibition includes original aircraft, engines, uniforms, and historical documents from the early 1900s to the present day. The visit offers an overview of technological progress, aeronautical design, and the key moments that shaped the history of the Italian Air Force.
Lunch Break 
Transfer to Frascati and visit to ESA-ESRIN (European Space Research Institute)
Introduction to the European Space Agency’s mission, research activities, and the role of ESRIN as the centre for Earth Observation. Participants will learn about satellite data collection, environmental monitoring, and technological applications in the space sector.

aimed at exploring academic programs, research activities, and laboratories dedicated to aeronautical and space technologies. The meeting includes an introduction by faculty representatives and an overview of ongoing projects in fields such as flight dynamics, propulsion, and materials for aerospace applications.

Bologna Historical walking tour
Piazza Maggiore, the Basilica of San Petronio, the Archiginnasio, and the Two Towers, symbols of the city. The visit explores Bologna’s medieval architecture, its academic tradition, and the evolution of the city as an important cultural and economic center in northern Italy.
Guided Visit to the Museum of Industrial Heritage of Bologna
located in a former brick factory. The museum illustrates the economic and technological development of Bologna and its territory from the Middle Ages to the present day. Exhibits include machinery, models, and multimedia displays dedicated to sectors such as silk production, mechanics, packaging, and automotive innovation.

Ducati factory experience
The visit offers an overview of the company’s history, technological innovation, and the evolution of its motorcycles. Participants can observe the different stages of production, from engine assembly to quality control, and explore the museum collection featuring historical models and racing bikes that have marked Ducati’s legacy in the motorcycling world.

Visit to the University of Turin, one of Italy’s oldest and most prestigious academic institutions.
Visit to the Turin Automobile Museum and the Pista 500 rooftop track.which traces the history of the automobile through an extensive collection of vehicles, engines, and interactive exhibits illustrating the evolution of mobility and design. The experience continues at the Pista 500, the former test track on the rooftop of the historic FIAT Lingotto building, now transformed into a panoramic pedestrian path offering a unique view over the city and the Alps.
